Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to own the delivery, model-serving, routing, and observability layer of EY’s AI-native platform. This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, MLOps, FinOps, and observability, delivering repeatable AI workloads across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

You’ll build CI/CD/CV pipelines, govern AI assets, manage costs per tenant, and own the full observability stack with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in DevOps, MLOps, platform, or observability engineering with ownership of AI workloads.
• Hands-on CI/CD/CV pipelines and GitOps tooling experience (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• Experience with inference/model-serving frameworks on GPU infrastructure.
• Strong observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with model registries, artifact governance, and cost/lineage controls.
• Ability to operate in cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps and delivery for AI workloads: CI/CD/CV pipelines, release, and rollback.
• Own governance and discovery for AI assets and model metadata.
• Own resource and cost management with per-tenant attributions.
• Own the full observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards.
• Automate GitOps-based delivery and verification with policy gates.
• Tie telemetry and cost signals to deployment decisions and rollouts.
