Job summary

MassMutual is seeking an entry-level AI Platform Engineer to join the AI Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on learning to design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure and AI-serving components.

You’ll work with senior engineers to contribute to real initiatives from day one, with mentorship and a culture of continuous learning. The position is full-time with a hybrid onsite schedule (3 days/week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Foundational understanding of cloud computing with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, Java, or a comparable language.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to platform components—cloud infrastructure, AI serving layers, and developer tooling under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and implementation of platform features such as LLM gateway and model serving infrastructure with code, tests, and documentation.
• Learn engineering standards through design reviews and pair programming with experienced engineers.
• Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and deliver them to production with support.
