Job summary

Serverless Ventures is seeking an AI Platform Engineer in Austin, TX to build AI-native systems at the intersection of Edge AI and software generation. In this hands-on role, you'll work directly with founders to design and build scalable systems.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience and be comfortable with backend architecture and API design. You'll take ownership from design to deployment, contributing to impactful real-world systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven experience shipping production systems.
• Strong curiosity and sustained engagement with the AI/LLM ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade backend systems and APIs.
• Develop AI-native applications and LLM-powered workflows.
• Take full ownership of projects and deliver on deadlines.

Skills

Programming skills in Python, Go, Rust

Backend architecture

Distributed systems basics

Experience with Production deployments
