Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to own delivery, model-serving, routing, and observability for EY’s AI-native platform. You’ll manage CI/CD pipelines, governance of AI assets, cost attribution, and comprehensive observability across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments.

This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, MLOps, FinOps, and observability, requiring experience with GPU inference, multi‑tenant cost controls, and secure, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years in DevOps, MLOps, platform, or observability with production ownership of AI workloads.
• Hands-on DevOps including CI/CD/CV pipelines and GitOps tooling for automated delivery.
• Hands-on experience with inference/model-serving frameworks on GPU infrastructure.
• Strong observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo/Jaeger and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with API gateways (Envoy) and cost/FinOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps and delivery for AI workloads across environments with CI/CD/CV pipelines.
• Own governance and discovery for AI assets and model metadata.
• Own resource and cost management with per-tenant attribution.
• Own the full observability stack and SLA/alerting.
• Own OpenTelemetry collection and multi-tenant telemetry routing.
• Automate GitOps delivery with policy gates for safe releases.
• Close loop between delivery and observability to drive rollout decisions.
• Ensure consumption and telemetry are identity-stamped per tenant.
