Job summary

Barton Malow is hiring an AI DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD, cloud environments, and the telemetry layer for our agentic platform. You will make deployments safe, repeatable, and observable, with a focus on reliability and cost control.

You will implement production-grade observability, SLOs, and on-call practices while enabling engineers to ship AI components confidently. This role directly supports the APEX initiative and platform.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering with production ownership.
• Deep CI/CD experience building and owning pipelines that gate and release.
• Strong cloud operations experience, preferably AWS, IaC with Terraform/CDK.
• Hands-on observability including metrics, logs, tracing and dashboards.
• SRE fundamentals: SLOs, incident response, on-call, capacity planning.
• Ability to read code, wire telemetry, and debug deployments independently.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD for the platform, including automated testing and safe releases.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code and cost controls.
• Run the reliability practice with SLOs and incident response.
• Build agent telemetry and observability with dashboards and alerts.
• Set deployment patterns and observability standards for the team.
