You’ll collaborate with analysts and leaders to translate needs into reusable datasets and contribute to engineering standards. This role offers a chance to influence architecture and practices in a small, high-impact team, with open-source tools and production-grade data workflows, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed data processing (e.g., Spark).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data services and APIs.
• Familiar with testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Strong written communication.
• Curiosity and interest in learning new AI data tools.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines that matter: design, build, and own batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Lead the shift to real time: modernize the platform with new tools and architectures.
• Make things fast and reliable: tune and harden production systems for trustworthy data.
• Build the foundation for AI: develop data infrastructure for AI agents with retrieval, embeddings, and governed access.
• Turn ideas into impact: translate analyst and leader needs into dependable datasets.
• Raise the bar: contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
