The Role
A technical, hands-on role where you will:
- Develop perception capabilities for machines to interpret complex, unstructured outdoor environments.
- Design and train neural networks for multi-object tracking, terrain interpretation, and classification.
- Build scalable data engines including collection, labeling, and training pipelines.
- Optimize machine vision models for deployment on edge-compute hardware.
- Integrate and fuse data from LiDAR, radar, and cameras for autonomous decision-making.
- Debug perception failures in real-world field environments to improve model reliability.
- Contribute to emerging vision-language-action model development for embodied AI.
The Essential Requirements
- 3-5 years professional experience in robotics, perception, or autonomous systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and ROS/ROS2.
- Deep understanding of deploying models via TensorRT, CUDA, or ONNX.
- U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) is required.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLM) or multimodal learning.
- Background in off-road autonomy, AgTech, or heavy equipment sectors.
