Job summary

Welocalize is hiring a Data Labeling Associate to work onsite in the United States. You will evaluate AI outputs, perform audits of data and model behavior, and contribute to improving evaluation frameworks. The role requires native Tamil, strong English, and 1–2 years of writing experience, with a university degree.

This is a 100% onsite position with a 1-year contract and 40 hours per week. Applicants must be located in or able to commute to the listed cities.

Qualifications

• Native-level Tamil language proficiency.
• B2 or superior level of English.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience with structured writing skills.
• Ability to apply complex writing rules and guidelines.
• Strong understanding of safety considerations in GenAI data delivery.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
• Curiosity about AI and technology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, actionable way.
