You will work alongside industry experts with experience at Google, Apple, Amazon, and Meta. This is an opportunity to help build a foundational AI platform and redefine what production AI systems can achieve.
What you will be doing
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production-class AI and software systems using Python, PyTorch, C++, Rust, Java, or similar languages.
- Build clean, modular, and reviewable software while prioritizing performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Debug complex software infrastructure across cloud environments, distributed systems, asynchronous processes, and real‑time workloads.
- Collaborate with machine learning researchers, software engineers, product teams, and domain experts.
- Convert experimental machine learning algorithms into production‑ready, testable software modules.
What we need to see
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting scalable and efficient software solutions, prioritizing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands‑on experience in production‑class software design and development using Python, Java, or C++.
- Proficient in debugging complex software infrastructure, including real-time threads and cloud-based systems. Familiarity with real-time threads and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and optimizing software algorithms.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Extensive experience in product‑class software systems, expertise in distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in developing and optimizing deep learning models for real-world problems, including expertise in AWS infrastructure and services for cloud-based deployments.
- Expert-level understanding of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
- Demonstrable ability to quickly grasp new concepts, including mathematical theorems, and devise original solutions to mathematical challenges.
