Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ and Java.
• Experience in information retrieval, search infrastructure, ranking systems, data quality, or signal extraction for content evaluation.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis, building data pipelines, and applying statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly scalable software systems and backend infrastructure for information retrieval.
• Design, implement, and iterate on systems to retrieve high-value content, defining quality signals, extracting data, and building evaluation models.
• Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and research teams to integrate premium knowledge into high-visibility Generative AI surfaces.
• Grow in a changing, rapidly growing environment, establishing clear technical directions and delivering results from the ground up for a new organizational effort.
• Uphold standards for code quality, system reliability, engineering best practices, and comprehensive technical documentation across the team.
