Job summary

ASSYST is seeking a software engineer with a Master’s in CS to design, code, test, and deploy AI/ML driven components for client projects and internal systems. You will lead prototypes, implement machine learning solutions, and contribute to documentation and releases. Travel to local clients is required; remote work is not permitted.

The role emphasizes strong software engineering fundamentals, data science proficiency, and high-quality deliverables across architectures and systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in computer architecture and design, software engineering concepts, and AI/ML application development using machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
• Strong background in quality assurance testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Proficiency in data science, deep learning, and neural networks.
• Ability to travel to local clients as required by project or client needs.
• Remote work is not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and coding of software components, units, and modules.
• Develop prototypes and systems leveraging AI and Machine Learning for client projects and internal systems, applying expertise in software engineering, machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data science.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, conduct tests, and identify/debug problems.
• Review, test, and deploy code changes implemented as part of releases or support activities.
• Participate in writing product and user documentation.
• Take proactive action to solve problems that routinely arise.
