Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a quantitative professional to join the AI/ML Validation Center of Excellence. You will develop benchmark AI/ML models and validate them across Marketing, Fraud, Credit Risk, and Operations, ensuring robust oversight of bank AI models.

You will review development docs, run independent tests on GenAI and agentic AI systems, and produce guidance, training, and white papers for stakeholders. This role emphasizes advanced ML, GenAI, and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or MA/MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Strong statistical modeling or computer science background with model development or validation experience.
• Hands-on Python and ML framework skills with knowledge of multiple ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop benchmark AI/ML models and perform development, validation, and review activities.
• Review model development docs and conduct independent testing of advanced AI/GenAI models.
• Create technical guidance, training material, and communicate validation outcomes to stakeholders.
• Explore R&D for AI/GenAI methodologies and use cases in financial services.
