Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an experienced Software Engineer III to join Corporate AIML Data Platforms and CDAO. You will design and deliver trusted, scalable AI-powered technology products in a secure environment.

You will work on data pipelines, ML model development, and productionizing AI applications, collaborating with data scientists and backend teams to drive enterprise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development, training, and deployment.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Proficient in Java for client/server development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern front-end practices.
• Experience with data pipelines and processing (Spark, Pandas, NumPy).
• Solid CI/CD, MLOps, and model versioning knowledge.
• Cloud platforms and containerization familiarity.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develops and deploys AI/ML models and data pipelines for enterprise apps.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code for ML systems.
• Produces architecture/design artifacts for AI-powered applications.
• Transforms large datasets to support AI/ML model development and evaluation.
• Implements NLP, generative AI, and other ML technologies in production.
• Collaborates with data scientists to productionize models and integrate with backend services.
• Contributes to AI/ML communities through demos and talks.
