Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is building a new AI/ML Ops pillar to ensure models run reliably at scale. This leadership role requires establishing operating models, monitoring, change management, and governance for production AI/ML assets.

You will partner with data infrastructure, governance, platform engineering, and risk functions; define SLOs/SLAs, incident response, and cost optimization, while hiring and shaping the pillar.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations through a major transformation.
• Built monitoring and escalation foundations for a new function.
• Strong change advisory, risk tiering, release governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Define operating model for AI/ML production transitions (build to production).
• Create change management processes for model releases with approvals.
• Establish ownership models (RACI) across Engineering, Ops, Governance.
• Develop in-production evals and guardrails with policy enforcement.
• Define and own SLOs/SLAs for production models and pipelines.
• Lead on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortems.
