Qualifications

• PhD candidacy in computer science, statistics, bioinformatics or related field.
• Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks beginning May/June 2027.
• Excellent Python software development skills.
• Strong experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in multi-disciplinary settings.
• Interest in life sciences and disease biology.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical and computational methods/pipelines to analyze genetic and genomic datasets.
• Analyze large-scale human genetic/genomic datasets to identify disease targets and biomarkers.
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team supporting validation, including bioinformatic analysis of bulk and single-cell sequencing.
