Job summary

APEX TK LLC is seeking a Radar Signals Engineer to advance government satellite programs in Earth orbits. You will work with modeling and simulation, develop ML algorithms for space-surveillance sensors, and schedule sensor networks for tracking maneuvering satellites.

Responsibilities include EDA, designing ML models, building HPC pipelines, and presenting technical briefings. APEX TK offers collaboration with astrodynamics experts and cross-functional teams in a cutting-edge aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of relevant experience in radar/space engineering.
• Active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance.
• Experience performing space-related engineering analysis using Python, C++, R, SQL, MATLAB, Linux or STK.
• Excellent ability to communicate findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with modeling and simulation team for Earth orbit simulations.
• Develop ML algorithms for satellite surveillance tasks and sensor networks.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis to identify patterns in space data.
• Design, train, evaluate ML models and optimize algorithms for anomaly detection and classification.
• Produce actionable technical briefings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Review results from external teams and contribute to system design discussions.
