Job summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions that enhance national security mission systems. You will advance NLP/LLM pipelines, computer vision, and hybrid models, working across data processing, model development, MLOps, and cloud-native services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure production-grade quality, and contribute to documentation, reviews, and accreditation in sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Experience with ML/NLP/CV and generative AI.
• Experience deploying AI/ML in microservice stacks.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with data processing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML models including NLP/LLM, CV, and deep learning.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Develop end-to-end production components (microservices, APIs, automation).
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and support accreditation in classified environments.
