Job summary

Google is seeking a software engineer to design and build scalable ML infrastructure for Ember’s 0-to-1 ranking and feed blending platform. You will apply advanced ML and optimization to curate a hyper-personalized feed for global users and lead GenAI-driven user experiences from ideation to production.

The role drives end-to-end ML life-cycle, including data gathering, model training, offline/online evaluation, and large-scale deployment. Collaboration with product and UX teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Python and C++ or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML, specifically reinforcement learning.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ML infrastructure for Ember’s ranking and feed blending platform.
• Apply advanced ML and multi-objective optimization to curate a hyper-personalized feed.
• Lead the technical execution of GenAI-driven user experiences from ideation to production.
• Drive end-to-end ML life-cycle: data gathering, training, evaluation, deployment at scale.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and cross-functional teams to launch on the roadmap.
