Job summary

SOSI is seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models across domains such as generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities include preprocessing large Sponsor datasets, building ETL pipelines, and deploying models in cloud environments with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. Collaboration with staff officers is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or R for AI/ML development.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment.
• Familiarity with model development, evaluation, and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML models and ensembles using Sponsor data.
• Preprocess and analyze large structured and unstructured data for model training.
• Collaborate with officers to design experiments and verify model performance.
• Deploy and maintain AI/ML models in cloud environments for scalability and security.
• Develop ETL pipelines, SQL configurations, and performance metrics.
• Document methods and findings and prepare reports/publications.
• Provide technical education on AI/ML topics to staff.
