Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an AI/ML Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to design and deliver NLP/LLM-based systems, and to work across teams to build scalable APIs and data-sharing capabilities. The role emphasizes cloud-based deployment, prototyping, and rapid evaluation of new AI technologies.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript, cloud services, and containerization, with a focus on delivering practical AI features for Fortune 500 customers and internal innovation

Responsibilities

• Pilot next-generation technologies solving problems with Gen AI or ML.
• Develop with LLM SDKs or APIs (Claude, Gemini, etc.).

• Create AI/ML solutions using Python or TypeScript and DE concepts.
• Evaluate open-source tools, orchestration frameworks, vector DBs.
• Rapidly build prototypes to test architectures.

What You Will Do

• Pilot next-generation technologies solving problems traditional programming struggles with by utilizing Gen AI or other machine learning techniques
• Experience in developing with Claude, Gemini, or similar LLMs SDKs or APIs
• Experience in cloud platforms
• AI Engineer/ ML Engineer with python or typescript. They should have knowledge of DE. and some knowledge in aws or some cloud.
• Assess and integrate open-source tools, orchestration frameworks, context management solutions, and vector databases.
• rapidly build prototypes to evaluate architecture

What You Will Bring

• Designing and delivering NLP or LLM-based systems, with knowledge of multi-modal and agentic AI frameworks
• Understanding how to context engineer with or without a framework
• Prior work in designing user-facing AI features or tools
• Experience in building APIs and sharing data between teams
• Experience as a backend or full stack dev preferably in Python or Typescript
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services and containerization technologies

Pay Range: $105000-$115000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
