Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking a highly hands-on Senior AI Engineer to independently design, build, test, and deliver enterprise-grade AI applications from concept to deployment-ready software in San Diego.

You will architect end-to-end AI-powered applications, develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, embeddings and vector search, and build agentic workflows integrating enterprise apps, APIs, tools and data sources. Experience with Harness CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, prompt/context engineering and model integration.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS Bedrock or comparable model platforms.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and vector databases.
• Strong API, microservices, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Strong hands-on Harness CI/CD, pipeline-as-code/YAML, services, environments, connectors and pipeline troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Harness Skills and AI-assisted software delivery strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly hands-on Senior AI Engineer who can independently design, build, test, and deliver enterprise-grade AI applications from concept to deployment-ready software. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack engineering with deep practical expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, modern AI frameworks, and AI-assisted software development. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Harness and modern CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities:
