Job summary

Altamira Technologies Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics platforms. The role is based in Tampa, FL (Downtown) or Joint Base Andrews, with work at customer sites as required.

You will help model data, ensure governance and quality, and work across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) to deploy data assets. Collaboration with analysts and product teams is essential in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Assist in data models, schemas, and metadata within governed environments.
• Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks with governance best practices.
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy data assets and optimize resources.

Responsibilities

• Support ETL/ELT activities to move data between sources and analytics environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to meet data requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews to improve processes.
