Western Digital is seeking an attorney to provide legal support in IP Compliance and AI. The role reports to the Director of IP Compliance and requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, bar membership, and 2–3+ years in patent/trade secret litigation or transactions within tech. This on-site California position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• JD degree from an accredited law school; top 50 preferred.
• Bar membership in one state.
• Experience in AI, IP compliance or related fields is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Analyze AI-related laws and regulations and their impact on WD.
• Collaborate across functions on AI governance and risk assessments.
• Provide strategic IP compliance advice to internal clients.
• Assist with IP-related internal investigations.
• Develop and deliver IP compliance training.
• Participate in onboarding discussions for high-risk candidates to minimize risk.
• Support offboarding to protect confidential information and trade secrets.
