Job summary

SMX is seeking an AI Engineer and Integrator to support a government client at Camp Smith in Aiea, Hawaii. The AI Integrator will lead client-facing AI integration and adoption, working with the AI Engineer to design AI-enabled systems and workflows.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, and the role is full-time onsite in Aiea. Responsibilities include leading the Knowledge Systems Integrator team, translating client needs into AI use cases, and ensuring tools are accurate, useful, and aligned with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience leading AI integration, tool development, or mission technology efforts.
• Strong understanding of military joint planning processes and operational decision-making.
• Experience with AI-enabled decision support, AI workflows, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Ability to lead teams, client-facing adoption, and workflow integration.
• IAM/IAT and AWS certifications preferred for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client-facing lead for AI integration, adoption, and workflow alignment.
• Lead the Knowledge Systems Integrator team's development of new tools, processes, and applications.
• Collaborate with AI Engineer to design and refine AI-enabled systems.
• Ensure AI tools are accurate, useful, and aligned with client requirements.
• Translate client needs into AI use cases, tool requirements, and adoption plans.
• Develop AI workflows, prompts, SOPs, and playbooks.
• Lead user adoption, training, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with knowledge repositories to support AI workflows.
