Job summary

Meta is seeking an Innovation Policy Manager to design, develop and execute experiences that showcase AI, wearables, VR, and other technologies to policy audiences.

You will collaborate with internal teams—Policy, Product, Marketing, Legal, Partnerships, and Communications—and build partnerships with AI developers." You will lead policy campaigns, advocate for the economic and social value of AI innovation, and help ensure responsible AI practices while traveling domestically to engage

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, political science, or related field.
• 5+ years of policy/legal experience with a focus on AI technology or related tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead demos for policy audiences with AI, wearables, VR and related technologies.
• Develop and execute innovation policy experiences and events for policy stakeholders.
• Advocate for AI innovation and its economic and social value.
• Engage policymakers, trade associations, industry partners and others to shape public discussion.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, Partnerships and global policy teams.
• Build coalitions to advance policy goals.
• Manage innovative policy programs and campaigns, including new AI products.
• Lead or co-lead advocacy campaigns as primary client lead.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to champion AI innovation.
