Mirantis, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect with deep security expertise to own the security solutioning of k0rdent AI, our GPU cloud and AI factory platform.

You will design reference architectures, implement end-to-end security from hardware to models, and publish designs and proofs of concept with customers and partners. The role blends research, architecture, lab validation, and customer-facing work, reporting to the Office of the CTO Voyager team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years in security engineering or security architecture.
• Customer-facing experience as solutions architect, pre-sales engineer or technical lead.
• Experience securing cloud, Kubernetes or large-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Programming or scripting in Python or Go.

Responsabilités

• Design and publish security reference architectures for k0rdent AI, covering single-tenant private AI clouds, multi-tenant GPU clouds and hybrid deployments.
• Define a defence‑in‑depth model across the stack from hardware root of trust to workloads.
• Define tenant isolation boundaries and document trade‑offs and costs to strengthen boundaries.
• Map designs to controls and frameworks and document risk, cost, performance and operability trade‑offs.
• Bare‑metal and host security including secure boot, TPM attestation, firmware integrity, and hardened Linux hosts.
• Kubernetes security including RBAC, Pod Security Standards, admission control, policy‑as‑code, and runtime security.
• Secrets management and PKI including automated issuance and rotation, mTLS and workload identity.
• Secure software supply chain with image signing, SBOMs, vulnerability management and provenance.
• Prototype designs in the lab, write automation and tooling to reproduce reference architectures.
• Engage with customers, partners and the broader security community in workshops and reviews.
