Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior AI infrastructure engineer to design and operate GPU‑driven clusters across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will implement scalable, automated workflows, and drive performance optimization for AI training and inference workloads.

The role emphasizes governance, energy efficiency, cost management, and collaboration with enterprise data platforms to support large‑scale distributed compute and multi‑node simulations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing accelerated-computing infra across on‑prem/cloud/hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with GPUs, DPUs, CPUs, high‑bandwidth networks, and AI storage architectures.
• 5+ years with cluster management, orchestration, observability, and automation (K8s, Slurm, Run:ai).
• 6+ months hands-on with Claude Code, AI automation tools, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Bachelor's degree or >=12 years experience; Associate degree requires 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement accelerated‑computing infra solutions aligned to architecture, deployment roadmaps and governance.
• Deploy and operate GPU-based clusters across bare-metal and containerized environments.
• Integrate infra platforms with enterprise systems, data platforms, security and governance controls.
• Build reusable tools, scripts, and automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, validation, and monitoring.
• Establish repeatable ops processes for provisioning, configuration, patching, capacity planning and incident response.
• Benchmark and diagnose performance across multi-node AI training, inference, and distributed workloads.
• Develop architecture diagrams, runbooks, and support documentation.
• Provide guidance and optimization for GPU clusters with emphasis on availability and cost management.
