AI Implementation Specialist (AI Governance, Gateways & Platform Controls)

About the Role

A fast-growing enterprise technology company is seeking an AI Implementation Specialist to help enterprise customers design, deploy, and operationalize AI governance frameworks across their organizations. This individual will act as a trusted advisor on AI strategy, support large-scale AI rollouts, and configure critical AI control points such as gateways, integrations, and policy enforcement mechanisms to help protect sensitive data and maintain compliance.

The role combines customer-facing consulting, technical implementation, solution architecture, and executive stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with security, IT, and business teams to deliver scalable AI governance solutions and drive successful customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand business processes, AI initiatives, success metrics, and technical requirements.
• Advise enterprise customers on AI security, governance, visibility, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Design and implement AI governance policies integrated with existing customer infrastructure.
• Deliver executive-level product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases and industry needs.
• Create technical documentation, enablement materials, and customer training programs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize deployed AI solutions.
• Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Act as a subject matter expert on AI governance, platform controls, and enterprise AI deployment strategies.

Required Experience

• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as:
• Solutions Architect
• Implementation Engineer
• Sales Engineer
• Technical Account Manager
• 2+ years delivering enterprise software implementations, technical consulting engagements, or related customer projects.
• Experience working with AI tooling, LLM integrations, APIs, or modern cloud-based architectures.
• Demonstrated success supporting large enterprise customers through complex technical deployments.
• Strong understanding of:
• AI security and governance
• Zero Trust principles
• Experience with AI gateways, API controls, integration layers, or similar governance technologies.
• Knowledge of:
• REST APIs
• Webhooks
• JSON-RPC
• Event-driven architectures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in fast-moving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, cloud certifications, or AI-related credentials.
• Experience deploying or managing:
• AI integration platforms
• LLM gateways
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations
• LangChain, LiteLLM, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with:
• Zero Trust architectures
• Endpoint security tools
• Experience integrating telemetry or audit logs with platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar observability tools.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and compliance standards including NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and SOC 2.
