Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or related quantitative field with substantial ML/data-intensive software experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience preparing datasets, running controlled experiments, and communicating model limitations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain research data pipelines integrating clinical records, text, imaging, and other data sources.
• Implement governed data access workflows and reusable tools for cohort discovery and research analytics.
• Develop, benchmark, and validate AI methods including multimodal models and LLMs when suitable.
• Turn validated methods into maintainable research services with tests, docs, and handoffs to operations.
• Set evaluation plans with investigators, including baselines and error analysis.
• Collaborate with ICTR and other partners to implement approved access and governance.
• Support investigators through consultations, demos, and training materials; contribute to publications.
