LatentView Analytics is a globaldata and analytics company that partners with Fortune 500 enterprises to turndata into decisions. With a sharp focus on AI-led transformation, LatentViewserves clients across Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Marketplace & Retail, and Industrial sectors — delivering solutions that span advanced analytics, machine learning, AI engineering, and data platform modernisation. The companyoperates from its India centres in Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and Chennai, with asignificant global client presence across North America and Europe.

As AI moves from experimentationto production, LatentView is building the technical leadership layer that willown end-to-end solution architecture — bridging business outcomes andengineering excellence at enterprise scale.

ROLE CONTEXT & STRATEGIC RATIONALE

The Head of AI is a newly scopedleadership role designed to unify LatentView's technology function across threehigh-growth verticals. This is not a purely functional or delivery role — it isa business-critical leadership position that sits at the intersection of AIengineering, enterprise software, and client value creation.

The role is being created toaddress three imperatives:

  • Establish a unified, scalable AI and engineering practice that spans CPG, Marketplace & Retail, and Industrial verticals — moving from bespoke builds to reusable,enterprise-grade platforms.

  • Provide senior technicalauthority that talented Tech Leads, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists canrally behind — setting direction, standards, and culture.

  • Build deeptechnology-business fluency: a leader who translates client business problemsinto scalable software solutions, not just technical deliverables.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the ChiefClient Officer of CPG, Retail & Industrials, the Head of AI will own the AImandate for the CPG, retail, marketplace, and industrials business group alongwith offshore counterpart. This includesAI practice development, solution architecture, enterprise coding standards, security frameworks, and the product ionisation of AI/analytics solutions atclient scale. Equally, the role demands exemplary people leadership — building, inspiring, and retaining a multi-disciplinary technology team while serving asthe primary technical voice in senior client conversations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Centricity & Business Engagement

  • Serve as the seniortechnical voice in C-suite client conversations — translating complextechnology capabilities into business outcomes and ROI narratives.

  • Partner with Account andBusiness Development teams during pre-sales: solution scoping, effortestimation, technical proposal writing, and client presentations.

  • Develop a deepunderstanding of the business dynamics of CPG, Marketplace & Retail, andIndustrial sectors — speaking the language of the client's business, not justthe technology.

  • Build trusted advisorrelationships with client CTOs, CDOs, and VP Engineering counterparts —influencing the direction of long-term technology partnerships.

  • Participate in QBRs,steering committees, and innovation workshops with Tier-1 clients, positioningLatentView's technology vision and roadmap.

  • Lead a multi-disciplinaryteam of Tech Leads, Senior Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and DataScientists — providing technical mentorship and career development.

  • Act as the technical northstar for the team: creating clarity of direction, setting high engineeringstandards, and fostering a culture of curiosity, craft, and accountability.

  • Attract and hire seniorengineering talent; build a compelling technical brand for LatentView inIndia's tech ecosystem.

  • Run regular architectureforums, tech talks, and learning programmes — keeping the team at the forefrontof AI/ML and software engineering developments.

  • Partner with Deliveryleadership on resource planning, capacity management, and allocation oftechnical talent across verticals and client programmes.

3. AI Practice& Agentic Solution Development

  • Own the strategic roadmapfor LatentView's AI Practice — defining service offerings, technology choices, and capability investments across all three verticals.

  • Lead the design anddelivery of agentic AI solutions: autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestrationsystems, and LLM-powered workflows embedded in enterprise client environments.

  • Evaluate and adopt frontierAI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Assistants) andtranslate them into production-viable architectures.

  • Establish and govern amodel registry, prompt engineering standards, and responsible AI guardrailsapplicable across client engagements.

  • Drive thought leadership —contribute to LatentView's external positioning through POVs, publications, andclient workshops on agentic AI and applied ML.

  • Act as the chief architectfor all major client engagements — owning end-to-end solution design from dataingestion to model deployment to business reporting.

  • Define and enforcearchitecture standards: cloud-native design patterns, microservices, API-firstprinciples, and scalable data platform architectures (Lakehouse, Medallion, etc).

  • Lead architecture reviewboards for key programmes, ensuring designs are production-grade,cost-optimised, and aligned with client enterprise standards.

  • Build reusableaccelerators, reference architectures, and IP assets that reduce time-to-valueacross engagements in CPG, Retail, and Industrial sectors.

  • Partner with Data Scienceteams to architect MLOps pipelines — feature stores, model traininginfrastructure, model monitoring, and drift detection frameworks.

5. Productionising Solutions at Scale

  • Drive the organisation'smaturity in taking AI and analytics solutions from prototype / POC toproduction-grade, enterprise-deployable systems.

  • Own the platformengineering layer: container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code(Terraform/CDK), observability stacks, and SRE practices.

  • Define SLAs, SLOs, andoperational run-books for live client solutions — ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability under production load.

  • Establish a structuredproductionisation playbook — covering feature engineering pipelines, modelserving (real-time and batch), monitoring, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

  • Collaborate with Deliveryand Client Success teams to ensure client environments (cloud tenants, on-prem,hybrid) are supported with robust deployment and handover processes.

  • Define and institutionaliseLatentView's software engineering standards: code review protocols, branchingstrategies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.

  • Champion engineeringexcellence: clean code principles, SOLID design, test-driven development, anddocumentation standards across all software and data engineering workstreams.

  • Implement inner-sourcepractices — enabling teams across verticals to share, reuse, and contribute toa common internal library of tools and services.

  • Evaluate and standardisethe technology stack (languages, frameworks, orchestration tools, cloudservices) to reduce fragmentation and improve maintainability.

  • Introduce developerproductivity metrics (DORA metrics, cycle time, deployment frequency) and builda culture of continuous engineering improvement.

7. Enterprise Security & Privacy Standards

  • Own and enforceLatentView's enterprise security posture for all client-facing solutions —covering application security, data privacy, and infrastructure hardening.

  • Establish asecurity-by-design culture: threat modelling, vulnerability assessment, dependency scanning, and secure coding standards embedded in every deliverylifecycle.

  • Lead compliance alignmentfor client data environments — including SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001 — inpartnership with Legal and Compliance.

  • Define privacy-preservingdata practices: anonymisation, pseudonymisation, differential privacy, and dataresidency controls, especially critical in CPG and Industrial engagements.

  • Govern AI-specific securityconsiderations: prompt injection prevention, model access controls, dataleakage risks in LLM deployments, and adversarial robustness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 15+ years of progressivetechnology experience, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadershiprole (Engineering Director, VP Engineering, Head of AI, or equivalent).

  • Demonstrable track recordof architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML or data solutions in aservices or product company context.

  • Deep hands-on expertise inat least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated data andAI services.

  • Proven experience leadingmulti-disciplinary engineering teams (software engineers, data engineers, datascientists) of 30+ people.

  • Strong knowledge of modernsoftware engineering practices: CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code,containerisation, and API design.

  • Hands-on experience withLLMs, generative AI frameworks, and agentic architectures — from design throughto production deployment.

  • Experience settingenterprise security standards and navigating compliance frameworks (SOC 2,GDPR, or equivalent).

  • Excellent communicationskills — able to engage credibly with both engineering teams and C-levelbusiness stakeholders.
