Job summary

McKesson seeks an AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered solutions across the stack. You will work on AI-driven enterprise apps, integrating LLMs, data pipelines, and prompt strategies within healthcare products.

Responsibilities include building scalable AI-enabled applications, communicating AI concepts to non-technical audiences, and iterating on prompts and prompts libraries. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in software development.
• BS in CS or related field, or equivalent.
• 4+ years building AI-enabled apps with LLMs and AI models.
• Proficiency in Python and AI libraries (openai, tensorflow, pytorch).
• Experience with MLOps for scalable AI deployment.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and LangChain/LlamaIndex.
• Experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• LLM cost optimization via caching, batching, quantization.
• Understanding of GPT-3.5/4 and related models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AI-driven enterprise software.
• Integrate LLMs and AI tools into front-end and back-end.
• Design data pipelines for AI development and testing.
• Explain AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Refine prompts and cache strategies for LLMs.
