Job summary

Render is seeking a People Partner to join the People team as a strategic partner to Engineering, Product, and Design leaders. Based in SF, this role is ~3 days/week hybrid and focuses on scaling people practices as Render grows.

You’ll combine hands-on HR business partnership with program-design skills to help managers navigate growth, build high-performing teams, and scale people practices at Render.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as an HRBP / People Partner supporting engineering or product leaders.
• AI-forward mindset and using AI tools to increase velocity, output and strategic value.
• Proven track record designing and running people programs from scratch.
• Strong critical-thinking to distinguish root causes and prioritize actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; coaching leaders on messaging and change.
• Ownership orientation; accountability and adaptability.
• Comfortable giving direct feedback and navigating difficult partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product, and design leaders as a trusted advisor on org health and performance.
• Leverage AI to automate scheduling and streamline daily workflows.
• Diagnose organizational health using surveys and signals; translate into prioritized action plans.
• Design and run people programs end-to-end (onboarding, manager enablement, engagement actions).
• Coach managers and executives through growth, reorgs, and performance conversations.
• Support engagement survey programs and interpret results with leaders.
• Build and scale manager enablement programs across the company.
