Job summary

McKesson is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for digital workspaces that unify workflows, data, and AI-powered assistance. You will lead discovery with stakeholders to identify pain points and translate insights into prioritized product investments, then define phased delivery plans with MVPs and pilots to maximize user value.

You will also shape platform services, including API management and IAM, manage APIs as products, and guide modernization efforts

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management delivering digital products, APIs, or internal tooling.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns including APIs, API gateways, microservices, and BFF architectures.
• Experience launching AI capabilities such as conversational AI or document AI.
• Proven success with legacy modernization and phased migrations.
• Strong product discovery, roadmapping, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for role-based digital workspaces unifying workflows, data, and AI assistance.
• Lead user discovery with internal/external stakeholders to identify pain points and translate insights into prioritized investments.
• Define phased delivery strategies through MVPs, pilots, and scalable releases to maximize user value and platform reuse.
• Define requirements for shared platform services including API management, BFF services, event-driven integrations, and IAM.
• Manage APIs and platform capabilities as products with clear definitions, adoption strategies, and performance expectations.
• Guide modernization efforts to enable legacy and cloud-native systems to operate together with minimal disruption.
