Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect to join the HCLS organization within AWS Enterprise engaged accounts. You will design cloud architectures for global HCLS customers, driving adoption of AWS services while aligning technical depth with business value.

You will guide customers through migrations, build AI-first reference architectures, and collaborate with account teams to accelerate cloud adoption across bioPharma and diagnostics sectors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders at BioPharma/Biotech and diagnostics organizations to understand their unique requirements and challenges.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer's business model, industry trends, and technical landscape.
• Architect and design AI first, scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions that address the customer's specific needs.
• Guide the customer through the cloud migration process, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of AWS services.
• Collaborate with the customer's technical teams to implement, configure, and optimize the AWS infrastructure.
• Build strong technical relationships with customer counterparts to support their cloud adoption journey
• Provide ongoing support and optimization recommendations to maximize the value of the customer's AWS investment.
• Share best practices, conduct training, and enable the customer's team to independently manage the AWS environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry developments to recommend innovative solutions.
