Job summary

Rithum is seeking a Staff AI-First Information Security Engineer to own the intersection of AI adoption and information security. You will design guardrails for AI-powered products, build automated security tooling, and create security controls for an AI-first workforce, collaborating with Platform Engineering, IT, and external auditors.

This role is not a typical security job; you will automate as much as you review, turning repeated tasks into code, and balancing research with fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering with AI/ML security depth (prompt injection, model supply chain, adversarial inputs).
• Experience using AI tools and LLM frameworks/APIs to accelerate work.
• Hands-on identity and access expertise across modern identity stacks, including AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Bridge architectural intent and operational reality; mediate security requirements and feasible implementations.
• Implement preventive security controls as policy- and infra-as-code.
• Enforce identity and access controls for AI systems and non-human identities.
• Maintain the InfoSec risk register; translate threats into actionable guidance for engineering teams.
• Support third-party and vendor risk assessments focused on AI data pipelines.
• Automate repetitive security workflows and build/operate AI-assisted security agents.
• Integrate security tooling with LLM layers for actionable insight and automated responses.
• Define and enforce security requirements for AI-powered features.
