Sport Alliance is hiring a data engineer to build cloud-native data pipelines on AWS and evolve data models that power analytics, operations, and AI/ML across thousands of studios. You will partner with product and other engineers to translate business problems into robust data solutions and help shape the data stack with AI tooling and data mesh concepts.

You will also grow into Finion Capital reporting, where accuracy and auditability are critical.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing and ownership growth.
• Strong SQL and Python for data work.
• Working with AI tools and the ability to review and validate AI outputs.
• Solid grasp of data architecture and dimensional modeling principles.
• Hands-on experience with dbt on a cloud warehouse.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Track record of debugging data issues and shipping fixes.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsabilités

• Build and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on AWS — ETL/ELT and underlying infra (Aurora, Redshift, dbt, Spark/EMR, Airflow, CDC).
• Design and evolve data models powering analytics, operations, and AI/ML across thousands of studios.
• Improve data reliability by embedding governance, testing, and lineage.
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to translate business problems into robust data solutions.
• Evaluate new approaches like data mesh and emerging AI tooling to decide what belongs in the stack.
• Grow into the Finion Capital reporting workstream with emphasis on correctness and auditability.
