Job summary

micro1, partnering with a leading AI lab, is seeking former management consultants to evaluate AI model reasoning on complex business problems and to develop prompts, model answers, and detailed feedback.

No prior AI experience is required; your consulting toolkit, structured problem solving, and written communication will drive performance improvements. This remote, project-based role is open to candidates based in an English-speaking country, with California preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience at a top management consulting firm.
• Experience within the past 7 years.
• Strong capabilities in business strategy, structured problem solving, and business analysis.
• Excellent written English and business communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to reasoning quality and business logic.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university preferred.
• Experience with market research and financial analysis.
• Experience evaluating complex business problems or developing structured recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model responses to business strategy and consulting-style problems.
• Develop prompts, model answers, and detailed feedback.
• Apply structured business frameworks to assess reasoning quality and identify gaps.
• Analyze complex business scenarios using structured problem solving and business analysis.
• Apply expertise in market research, financial analysis, and stakeholder considerations.
• Collaborate with the project team as evaluation guidelines and requirements evolve.
• Provide clear, rigorous written feedback to support continuous improvement of AI systems.
