Mindrift connects specialists with project-based AI opportunities for leading tech companies, focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. Participation is project-based, not permanent employment.

We are building a dataset to evaluate AI coding agents and you will design tasks, write tests, and iterate on evaluation criteria in realistic simulated environments. Compensation is up to $50/hr and you set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development.
• Proficient with Python (FastAPI) and React.
• Experience with Docker, Postgres, Kafka and Redis.
• Experience writing functional and integration tests.
• English proficiency at B2+.

Responsibilities

• Create challenging tasks and evaluation criteria within simulated environments.
• Build realistic developer environments: codebases, infra, tickets and docs.
• Write tests that verify agent solutions and accept all valid approaches.
• Iterate on tasks and tests based on QA feedback to ensure fairness.
