Job summary

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative cardiovascular program. The role features a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, with strong APP support and a 1:4 call rotation.

The position offers a full-time option with PRN/flex, and opportunities to leverage AI tools to enhance diagnostics. A Carotid/TEE workload is included, with a focus on patient-centered, guideline-driven care.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine required.
• Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing.
• Experience with NIV and echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging.
• Participate in 3–4 days inpatient rounds with APP support and 1–2 days outpatient clinics.
• Contribute to a collaborative cardiovascular program with balanced call schedule and use of AI tools for diagnostics.
