US-E-Consulting Services – AI & Engineering team at Deloitte is seeking a Consultant for AI &E Engineering-as-a-Service, focusing on end-to-end IT transformation, DevOps toolchain optimization, and strategy-driven modernization. The role requires a Bachelor's and preferably a Master's in a related field, with 3+ years in consulting and 2+ years in IT

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in information sciences, technology, computer science, or related field.
3+ years' experience in a consulting firm, working on large-scale technology transformation and modernization projects in the commercial sector in the strategy, growth and IT transformation space with a strong focus on technology.
2+ years' experience in IT project management, engineering transformation, and business analysis including tech modernization experience.
Demonstrated expertise in: Helping clients transform the SDLC to the AI SDLC using Claude, Claude Code and Cowork.
Project management-risk mitigation, RAID items, scheduling, cost control
Stakeholder management-bridging business and engineering groups
Data center and application migration projects
Business intelligence, reporting (Power BI), and analytics delivery
Demonstrated use of AI in current project environment
Advanced proficiency with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA) and reporting in a consulting, financial services, or technology environment.
Experience evaluating the engineering toolchain and technical solutions approaches across programs with specific experience working on application development modernization projects on a large scale with a strategic as well as technical focus.
Strong presentation, communication, and customer service mindset; proven ability to develop strong client relationships and deliver results across geographically distributed teams.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation.
Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Master's degree.

Responsibilities

Work on end-to-end IT transformation projects for major consulting clients, focusing on innovation, technology resiliency, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, onboard, and optimize DevOps toolchains (GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube) and improve code quality.
Assist project execution: develop plans, facilitate meetings, maintain docs, and drive key technology initiatives.
Analyze business requirements, performance metrics, and project risks; communicate recommendations and solutions with executive leadership.
Act as a technology liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise change management controls and business priorities.
