• Work alongside CTO and engineers on production systems.

Pocket is an AI-powered front desk solution for rehab therapy practices (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, chiropractic) that automates insurance verification and everything pre-visit—fully integrated into existing EMRs and workflows. From portal checks and direct insurance calls to onboarding, scheduling, and patient communications, Pocket handles the administrative work that stretches front desk teams thin. Practices using Pocket save 30+ hours per month and cut per-location costs by 50%.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated interest in AI through projects, research, volunteer work, internships, or coursework
• Eagerness to learn and ship in a fast-moving startup environment
• A bias toward building where you'd rather make something rough and iterate than wait for perfect
• Bonus: any exposure to LLMs, computer vision, or speech/audio systems (we'll teach you what you don't know)

What you'll work on

You'll work directly alongside the CTO and two engineers who'll guide you as you contribute to production-facing systems:

• Building and iterating on medical document generation systems
• Contributing to our RPA vision modules
• Helping develop our patient-facing and insurance AI voice calling modules
