Overview
Our Artificial Intelligence and Data team helps apply cutting‑edge technology and techniques to bring solutions to our clients. As part of that, you’ll sit side‑by‑side with clients and diverse teams from EY to create a well‑rounded approach to advising and solving challenging problems, some of which have not been solved before. No two days will be the same, and with constant research and development, you’ll build knowledge that can be applied across a wide range of projects now and in the future. Key Responsibilities
- Research, build, and implement scalable artificial intelligence systems that learn and make predictions tailored to diverse business requirements across various environments, including cloud and on‑premises.
- Enhance data pipelines and storage to ensure data is clean, accurate, and optimized for XOps processes.
- Monitor and optimize learning processes to continuously improve high‑performance models.
- Collaborate with data and analytics professionals to industrialize analysis into effective actionable analytics solutions.
- Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships daily.
- Accountable for program/project management and engagement economics.
- Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements.
- Continuously improve processes by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
- Manage professional employees and supervise teams to deliver complex technical initiatives, with accountability for performance and results.
- Engage actively with clients, participating in daily working sessions, and lead work streams from planning through execution to closure.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.

- Lead teams of AI engineers and data scientists to deliver modern Machine Learning and AI solutions for clients.
- Stay current on AI technology trends, industry innovations, and regulatory requirements; provide guidance on ModelOps tools and architectures that integrate with client ecosystems.
- Apply combined business and technical knowledge to design and implement ModelOps target architecture for scalable AI deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional roles—Data Scientists, Engineers (Data, Cloud, MLOps, DevOps)—to implement and sustain solutions on client platforms.
- Understand clients’ data, AI, and technology landscape, along with business priorities and success measures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, deliver high‑quality services, and manage large‑scale engagements within time and budget.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and consensus‑building skills, fostering constructive relationships in hybrid work environments.
- Solve complex problems using data‑driven decision‑making and computational thinking.
- Proficiency in deep learning, machine learning, programming, and data architecture design.
- Experience in cloud computing and technical design optimization.
- Communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and negotiate with confidence.
- Proven ability to develop solutions for complex challenges and recommend policy or process improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Technology Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
- 8‑10+ years of professional consulting experience in business or technology consulting or similar roles.
- 3‑5+ years of experience directly managing technical or consulting teams.
- Experience using and managing deployment of Generative AI models and frameworks (OpenAI family, open source LLMs, Dall‑e, LlamaIndex, Langchain, Retrieval Augmented Generation).
- Experience with popular ML packages such as scikit‑learn, PyTorch, ONNX.
- Extensive experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Azure DevOps, and Agile tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of Machine Learning workflows: ingesting, analysing, transforming data and evaluating results.
- Experience with MLOps methods and platforms such as MLFlow.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with CI/CD and test‑driven development.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models, frameworks, and pipelines.
- Experience deploying end‑to‑end ML workflows on at least one major cloud platform.
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software engineering best practices.
- Proficiency with SQL, Pandas, and Spark.
- Clear communication of findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience with containerization and scaling models.
- Willingness to travel for client obligations.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience with multidisciplinary teams.
- Team player.
Ideally
- Leading business or IT transformation projects supporting data science, business intelligence, AI, and cloud applications at scale.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards related to AI ethics, privacy, and data protection.
- Experience with Agile and/or Scrum delivery methods.
- Experience with design‑led thinking.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Databricks, AWS, NVIDIA, or Snowflake in Data & AI domain.
- Deep understanding and ability to teach concepts, tools, functions, benefits of different approaches.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or other quantitative field.
- Strong skills in languages beyond Python: R, JavaScript, Java, C++, C.
- Experience fine‑tuning Generative AI models.
- Strong leadership skills managing teams.
- Track record in client engagement and relationship management.
- Experience managing change and driving innovation.
