Job summary

Luxoft is initiating the development of a solution to generate investment insights from sales and research materials using advanced Agentic AI capabilities. The role focuses on backend development in Python, building production APIs with FastAPI, and integrating LLMs for content generation.

You will work closely with business teams and IT peers to refine requirements, design robust systems, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions in a Cloud environment (AWS).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Python and clean, maintainable production code.
• Production API design & delivery (FastAPI preferred), including versioning, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) beyond core compute/storage/DB.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Debugging & problem-solving with ownership across SDLC.
• Experience building agents.
• Vector databases and RAG patterns (indexing, embeddings, retrieval).
• LLM integration with prompt design, safety/guardrails, and tuning.
• Generative AI & ML requirements for content generation.

Responsibilities

Luxoft is initiating the development of a solution designed to generate investment insights based on sales and research materials. The solution will leverage advanced Agentic AI capabilities to significantly reduce the time required to prepare for client meetings and improve quality of the insights.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business team, business analysts, and architects to quickly understand new requirements and help identify changes to the system.
• Work closely on a day‑to‑day basis with the development team, designers, copy writers, and other IT teams.
• The role develops and presents recommendations from analysis of the current solution, assisting in design peer reviews, code peer reviews, building and unit testing functional enhancements, and identifying areas for code refactoring.
• Review and contribute to development processes and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the team’s activities.
• Offer solutions and designs to solve process, project, or program issues; provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness, and defend those recommendations confidently.
• Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences, producing design documents suitable for multiple audience types, both client‑facing and internal.
• Exhibit technical thought leadership and excellent problem‑solving ability, with an aptitude for technical innovation.

• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) beyond core compute/storage/DB—for example, eventing, queues, serverless, logging/monitoring, secrets.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Debugging & problem‑solving skills with strong ownership across the SDLC.
• Experience building agents.
• Vector databases and RAG patterns (indexing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval).
• LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or open‑source models) with prompt design, safety/guardrails, and cost/performance tuning.
• Generative AI & ML requirements, including ML fundamentals relevant to content generation (embeddings, tokenization, evaluation, fine tuning/LoRA, prompt+retrieval evaluation).

Nice to have

• Experience with AgentCore, AWS Neptune, and Amazon API Gateway.
• Frontend development with React (TypeScript preferred) to build the application's UI (state management, routing, API integration, component testing).
• Understanding of event‑driven architectures.
