Job summary

Biorce is seeking an AI Engineer to join our Austin hub as we expand in the U.S. and Europe. You will prototype, build, and debug AI-specific parts of our product, working in product squads with senior engineers.

This is a hands-on role focusing on prompts, agents, retrieval, and model behavior within an AI-powered platform that accelerates clinical trials. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in AI/ML-powered systems, strong CS foundations, and comfortable collaborating with customers and

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science with ML specialization or equivalent depth.
1–3 years of experience in AI/ML-powered systems.
Experience with modern AI stack: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, tool calling, retrieval, embeddings.
Foundational understanding of core ML concepts: model behavior, training vs. inference.
Experience shipping at least one AI- or LLM-powered feature end-to-end.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with customers.

Responsibilities

Prototype, build, and debug AI-specific parts of the product within product squads.
Prototype agent behaviors and tool integrations with real users and data.
Develop multi-step agent workflows for product use cases.
Integrate platform and model capabilities into product experiences.
Implement guardrails and safety checks for AI features.
Collaborate with design to understand user needs and feedback.
