Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking an AI and Data Science Engineer II to drive technology-focused client delivery across complex engagements. You will engage stakeholders, deliver design, prototyping, testing, and production rollout, and lead small teams providing technical direction.

The role requires 3+ years in AI/ML, 1+ years with GenAI using Palantir Foundry, Ontology, AIP, and 3+ years Python/SQL, with travel up to 50% and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

Work you’ll do

As an AI and Data Science Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for driving technology-focused client delivery across complex engagements.

• Engage with client stakeholders and sponsors, acting as the primary technical point of contact for your workstream
• Deliver components of client engagements spanning solution design, prototyping, testing, and production rollout
• Lead small teams through business requirements gathering, functional design, process mapping, and support-model definition, providing technical direction throughout
• Monitor progress against plan, identify variances, and drive corrective action before issues affect delivery
• Identify risks, assumptions, and constraints early, and implement approved mitigations to protect delivery
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with client stakeholders and internal engagement leadership

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years professional experience designing, developing, and delivering AI/ML solutions
• 1+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise GenAI solutions using Palantir Foundry, Ontology, AIP, and AI FDE
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Python and SQL
• 2+ years experience leading workstreams or small teams, within complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

• Experience translating business needs into production-ready GenAI use cases through stakeholder collaboration, rapid prototyping, demonstrations, and iterative delivery.
• Cloud certification(s) - AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience creating client workshop collateral and leading interactive working sessions
• Experience presenting technical content to both large and small audiences
