Job summary

labhouse is seeking an AI Engineer embedded with a Marketing and Growth team in Barcelona to design and ship LLM-powered tools, agents, and automations that replace manual marketing work with scalable systems.

You will own projects end-to-end, integrate LLMs with marketing platforms and data sources, and collaborate with Growth and ASO/SEO leads to drive high-impact opportunities, measuring gains from delivered work.

Qualifications

• Production experience with LLMs (prompting, fine-tuning, RAG, or agents).
• Experience with agent frameworks and multi-step tool-using workflows.
• Track record building AI tools/automations for marketing (reporting, optimization).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing operations (UA, SEO/ASO, attribution).
• Strong Python skills; comfortable with APIs/webhooks/3rd-party tools.
• Ability to work autonomously in fast-moving, data-heavy environments.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

An AI Engineer role embedded with a Marketing and Growth team inside a Barcelona-based mobile app studio. The position focuses on designing and shipping LLM-powered tools, agents, and automations that replace manual marketing work with fast, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive or slow marketing processes and convert them into AI-powered tools and automations.
• Design and build LLM-based agents that can reason, use tools, and complete multi-step marketing tasks such as reporting, creative generation, campaign analysis, and channel optimization.
• Own projects end-to-end, from scoping the problem with marketing stakeholders through design, build, and ship.
• Integrate LLMs and agents with marketing platforms and data sources including ad platforms, attribution tools, analytics, and dashboards.
• Partner with Growth, Performance Marketing, and ASO/SEO leads to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into working products.
• Measure productivity and performance gains from delivered work and iterate based on real usage.

Requirements

• Proven production experience working with LLMs including prompting, fine-tuning, RAG, or agent-based systems.
• Deep knowledge of agent frameworks and multi-step, tool-using workflow design.
• Demonstrated track record of building AI tools or automations specifically for marketing, such as reporting automation, creative generation, campaign optimization, or attribution modeling.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing operations including user acquisition, performance marketing, SEO, ASO, ASA, and attribution.
• Strong Python skills and comfort integrating APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools such as ad platforms, analytics, and MMPs.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize by impact, and ship in fast-moving, data-heavy environments.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Familiarity with automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Make.
• Experience building data pipelines, dashboards, or reporting systems.
• Prior startup or resource-constrained environment experience.
