Motion Recruitment is seeking an AI Engineer III – Agentic AI for a fintech organization. The role focuses on producing production-grade AI systems powered by LLMs, agentic workflows, and cloud-native infrastructure within a collaborative engineering team.

You will design and implement LLM-powered product capabilities, build agentic workflows, and develop RAG pipelines for financial datasets, contributing to shared AI platforms and monitoring solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered features, LLM applications, or ML-driven products.

You'll work with technologies including Python, Go, TypeScript, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, and modern AI tooling while developing systems that operate on real financial data and support customer‑facing products.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services

• Hands‑on experience building AI‑powered features, LLM applications, or ML‑driven products

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience building agentic AI applications or autonomous workflows
• Knowledge of retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures
• Exposure to vector databases, embedding pipelines, and semantic retrieval systems

• Experience working in fintech or other regulated environments
