Job description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in both IBM watsonx Orchestrate and LangGraph to design, develop, integrate, and deploy intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows.

In this role, you will build scalable, production-ready AI solutions that automate business processes, orchestrate complex workflows, integrate enterprise systems, and leverage Generative AI to deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with deep practical experience in AI agent development, workflow orchestration, and LLM-powered applications. Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus, particularly in environments where data privacy, security, compliance, and reliability are critical.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with both IBM watsonx Orchestrate and LangGraph.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying AI agents and agentic workflows in practical applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, web services, and enterprise systems.
• Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, prompt engineering, and tool calling.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, agent execution patterns, context management, state management, and error handling.
• Knowledge of multi-agent architectures and agent collaboration patterns.
• Experience with Git, software development best practices, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to develop, troubleshoot, document, and maintain production-ready AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in the Healthcare industry, including hospitals, healthcare providers, health insurance, medical technology, or healthcare operations.
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, patient services, clinical operations, claims processing, or healthcare administration.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Understanding of data privacy, information security, AI governance, and regulatory requirements for sensitive information.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment practices.
