Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting is seeking an AI Engineer 1 to design, implement, and govern AI/ML architectures for enterprise modernization. You will develop data pipelines, governance frameworks, and agentic AI capabilities while aligning with enterprise standards.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a CS/engineering/data science degree (Master preferred), 3+ years AI/ML experience, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud). Dow 8140 certified is a plus.

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science; Master preferred.
3+ years AI/ML engineering or solution development.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
Python and ML frameworks; API development.
understanding of AI governance and model lifecycle.
Dow 8140 certified.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and govern AI/ML architectures for enterprise modernization.
Contribute to AI architecture development, model governance, and data pipelines.
Design agentic AI architectures, including multi-agent orchestration.
Develop retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector DB integrations.
Support explainability, bias detection, monitoring, and drift management.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineering teams to integrate AI.
Support architecture governance reviews and technical assessments.
Document AI architecture designs and implementation guidance.
