Job summary

Robots & Pencils designs AI systems for a human world, pairing engineering with creativity. You will build and ship features of AI/ML and LLM-powered systems with guidance from senior engineers, and implement AI/ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment.

You will contribute to prompts, evaluations, retrieval and tool integrations, work with a distributed cross-functional team, document experiments and results, and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features of AI/ML and LLM-powered systems with guidance from senior engineers.
• Implement and maintain AI/ML and AI agent pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment.
• Contribute to LLM-powered features such as prompts, evaluations, retrieval, and tool integrations.
• Work closely with engineers across a distributed, cross-functional team.
• Document experiments, results, and model decisions clearly.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver end-to-end.
• Share learnings with the broader team to fuel continuous improvement.
